The When/Then Manifesting Pitfall

December 12, 2014 by Lamisha

manifest

When you think of your happiness and what it takes for you to live a happy life, do you find that you mostly feel that way in the present?

Or, do you find yourself falling into what I call the When/Then Manifesting Pitfall.

We all know that when we want to create or manifest a specific thing (be it a career, money, a relationship etc.) it is because we think it will make us feel good.  We search for happiness and want certain things in our lives to feel fulfilled, worthy, and blissful.  But when we are in the process of creating or manifesting those things, we often find ourselves feeling antsy, uncomfortable, and impatient.

We might look around asking “Well where is it?”.

And if you are like me you might be saying…“When I have the money/car/relationship/career/body I want…THEN I’ll be happy/grateful/fulfilled etc.”

Unfortunately, that’s not how it works.

When you are in manifesting mode, you have to first know that it is coming and enjoy the process.

I have one too many times fallen into the habit of taking score of what I want and how long it takes to get here.  All the while I am missing all of the amazing things around me.  At times in my life I have been a conditional happy person, meaning under certain conditions I would be happy.  (Mostly when things were going really well.)

Falling into the When/Then Pitfall is so easy in our world.  We are constantly on the look out for the next thing to bring about joy that we miss the very thing in front of us that could make us happy now.  And the crazy thing is that in order to manifest what you want, you have to be happy first.

What the career of your dreams? Make peace with the job you have.

What more money? Be grateful for the money you have and enjoy where you are.

What a better relationship? Appreciate the positive aspects your partner brings to the table and simply be happy.

The best thing you can do when you are trying to manifest anything, is start by focusing on what brings you joy in all aspects of your life.

Find your joy with the in-between time.  As the details are coming together and you haven’t yet reached the ultimate manifestation, know that it is coming and choose joy, happiness, and bliss now.  After all life is to be lived and enjoyed in the present as opposed to some arbitrary moment in the future.

Life is meant to be loved, enjoyed, and appreciated in the moment…always.  Don’t wait for the future to live the life of your dreams…start now with the little moments.

Your action step for the day is to be mindful of all the joy, happiness, and blissful moments you have right in front of you.  Notice them, appreciate them, and welcome them with open arms.  When you do that, I guarantee all those things you have been wanting to manifest will come that much quicker. 🙂

Trusting the Process

December 5, 2014 by Lamisha

Manifesting the life of your dreams can seem like a HUGE venture, especially when you are just starting out.  There are so many things you desire and so many beliefs to conquer that it’s hard to know where to begin and to trust that it’s going to happen.  I mean we do live in the ‘real’ world right? (I say that with tons of sarcasm.)

When you don’t trust the process, it makes things a whole lot more difficult than they have to be.  You doubt yourself, the Universe, and the magic-makers in the world telling you that you can have all that you desire.  But when you doubt yourself or the process, you slow things down.

So how do you trust the process?  I answer that question in the video below.

So, what is your little experiment you are going to try?  I’d love to hear in the comments below!

L. E. A. P. Into 2015

December 2, 2014 by Lamisha

Happy Tuesday Lovelies!!!

I have been hinting at this offer for a few weeks both on Facebook and in my VIP newsletters and I am so happy to finally share this with you.

Ever since I started my business I’ve had this vision of working with a group of women side-by-side to help them take the leap into the life they not only want, but the life they deserve.  As we approach the new year, I thought it would be a great time to create a group program to help you take that leap you’ve always wanted to take.

Before I reveal what it is and how to get signed up, I want you to think about something…

Last year as we moved into the fresh new year of 2014, what dreams and aspirations did you have going into the year?

With a clean slate ahead of you, you probably had a ton of energy and focus to take big action right?

But after a while, things got back to ‘normal’ and the sparkle of the new year began to fade and some of those big, bold dreams might have been placed on the back burner.

Over time they grew dusty and you might have revisited them a few times only to put them down again because life got in the way or you began to wonder if it is even possible to achieve.

But…

What if instead of starting the year with a big, bold dream alone, you started with a group of like-minded women aiming for their own big dreams?

What if you had the support of a coach to guide you through the steps to envision, create, and finally live that dream you’ve wanted for so long?

What if you could identify the junk holding you back and you could learn tools to help you clear the beliefs that are no longer serving you.

What if this is the year that you learn the steps that will change your life forever?

You are getting the opportunity to make 2015 the best year yet with the Leap 2015 group program.

This is a program that will not only guide you through the steps to manifest the life of your dreams (and anything else you want), but it will also help you uncover what is holding you back and help you begin to clear the way to take big inspired action.

This program will teach you how to harness the Universal power you’ve always had, but didn’t know how to use.

It’s time to try something a bit different.  To do something you haven’t done before and to reach new heights.

It’s time to LEAP!

Beginning in January 2015, myself and up to 10 other amazing women like you will come together for a 4 week coaching program that will guide, support, and inspire you to make 2015 the best year yet.  We will go on a quest to identify your vision for the year ahead, dig deep into the beliefs that have held you back for too long, get over the ‘how’ hurdle, and step fully into inspired action so your dreams become your reality sooner rather than later.

And the best part is you can use the same manifestation steps you will learn in the program and apply them to anything you desire.

So what do you say? Are you ready to make 2015 THE  year everything changes?

If so, hop on over HERE to get all the details on how you can get signed up for this amazing offer.  I’m limiting the group to 10 women and depending on the response, I may or may not be opening another round.  If you are interested, now is the time to take the plunge. And honestly, this is one of the best values you have ever seen!

I am so excited to start the year with a bang and to help you make 2015 YOUR year.  The question is…Are you ready?

A Lesson in Leaning Back

I’ll be the first to admit when I want something, I can become hyper-focused on it. (Ok maybe a little obsessed.)

I think about it.  I visualize it. I analyze it. I talk about it.

I often jump into action mode quickly and can sometimes forget to listen to my heart.

When it comes to my business and my goals, I often lunge forward when what I truly need to do is lean back and trust.

Today I was reminded of the importance of leaning back.

I’ve been working a bit on expansion in my life and in my business and part of that means reaching outside my comfort zone.

I’m taking risks and stepping into the spotlight so much more than I have before.  It’s exciting, exhilarating, and honestly it feels so right.

But, in the midst of taking inspired action and clearing my own BS, I sometimes come to a point when I get too focused on the outcome.

I want results and I want them…last week.

The result?

Lots of resistance, disappointment, feelings of lack, and taking forced action as opposed to inspired. (It’s not pretty.)

But, lucky for me I have an amazing support system including my own business coach who reminds me when it’s time to just lean back.

So, what is leaning back really?

To put it simply, it’s trusting the process and staying the course.  It’s detaching from the results and knowing that everything is working out perfectly.  It also means that you know that whatever it is you are trying to manifest or achieve is already done.

It’s happening now.  The money, relationship, career, and clients you want are on the way.  When you stay the course and know it is all coming to you now, you don’t have to worry. You can just enjoy the ride.

I’ll give you another example of what happens when you lean back.

A friend of mine was having a few slow weeks in her business.  She was doing the work and trying hard to figure things out.  She was in action all the time, until one day when she decided she needed a break.  Both her mind & body needed a reprieve from all the action so she took a few days off. She lounged around in her comfy clothes and allowed herself some time to just rest.  In the middle of her second day of rest, she gets a call from a new client.

Leaning back allows the energy you have put into motion to do the work for you.

No more pushing, prodding, or forcing things to happen.

So if you find yourself feeling anxious and are being busy for the sake of being busy.  Try a different approach.

Just lean back. Let go. Let it flow, and remember you have the power to create & enjoy the life of your dreams.  Sometimes that means letting go of the reins so the powers of the Universe can work for you.

Do you feel like you are forcing a particular area of your life right now?  If so, what is it? Share in the comments below and commit to leaning back for a few days.

P.S.  Have you signed up for my VIP list?  If not you can do so here.  I have some fun giveaways & exclusive offers that I am working on for the next few months that are only accessible to my VIP List so get signed up so you don’t miss out.

Where Is Your Focus???

November 15, 2013 by Lamisha

This week I have been a little MIA on my blog and for that I apologize, but I promise I had a good reason.  I decided to take some time to really reset my focus for the rest of this year and into the new year.  Re-focus sort of suggests I have been making plans and outlining my strategy, but what I did was a bit different from that.

I realized in the last two weeks especially, I have allowed the details of the future get the best of me.  Mostly, the unknown details and the many questions that come with them.  Questions about business success (or lack there of), questions about where I am headed, and what is on my path.  I have spent much of the last two weeks trying to desperately solve problems, figure things out, set plans, and FOCUS on what is coming when I have no clue what that might be.

Up until a few weeks ago I was okay with the not knowing.  In fact, I was more than okay with it…I was flowing with it and things were good.  It wasn’t until I received comments from someone else on what I “should” be doing, that I began this crazed focus on what is going wrong.

I am sure you have been there before too right?  Instead of basking in the wonderful things that are going on in life, we have a tendency to hone in on the one (or two) things that are lacking.  We allow those one or two things to be the main focus, main theme, and our primary concern, until we realize it is getting us nowhere.

That is why this week I spent some time changing my focus.  Instead of focusing on all the things I feel aren’t quite up to par, I have set the intention to practice flowing with what is good, abundant, beautiful, and magnificent in my life.  Does that mean I won’t ever notice when my glass is half-empty?  No, but it does mean that I am making a bit of an extra effort to soothe myself and know that it is okay for a glass to be half-empty some of the time, because when it is we appreciate the full glass so much more. So, I ask you lovely readers.  Where has your focus been as of lately?  Have you been enjoying and appreciating the magnificence that surrounds you or are you honing in on the things that are still missing?  If you fall into the latter category, I invite you to change your focus up a bit.  You may not have all the answers right now, but by enjoying the little things and the big things that are going well, you somehow find the answers you were looking for not only much faster, but also in the most amazing places.I hope you have an amazing weekend and turn your focus to the abundance and beauty all around you.  As always, thanks for reading!
