I think I’m finally getting it…

When you follow the call of your soul to the next level, it has to be about more than the direct result. 

It has to be about more than the A + B = C “solution” and instead about the fact that you’re doing the thing you feel called to do simply because you feel called to do it. 

You see, when it’s about just the result of your actions, you risk sliding up and down the slippery slope of ego. The ego that wants certainty and evidence and all the things in perfect working order in order to feel the feelings that come from having said outcome. 

True up-levels…true soul-called actions and desires rise above the result.

The result then is actually just icing on top of an already decedent cake-aka the experience of doing the thing.  True, up-levels are about the feeling of completion & certainty that comes from doing the thing. 

When it’s more about the result- we tend to live a life in a constant state of cause and effect.
 

–>I’m going to DO this thing because I want to GET that thing.

–>I’m going to TAKE this action because I want to experience this specific result.

–>I’m going to say YES to this because I expect a very specific result from it. 
 

But what if you just do it because it’s the right thing to do in that moment? 
 

What if ultimately we aren’t doing it for the cookies, accolades, likes or the comments?

What if we are just doing it because it’s what we have been called to do, led to say or the way we’ve been guided to act?

When you’re divinely guided and inspired to act, write, create or do the things…do it because you’re called, not solely for the result that it will bring. 

It’s not about that. 
It’s never really been about that. 

Yes, there is always a reason you’re called to do the thing, but it’s not always about the direct tangible result of your action. 
 

This magical journey called life doesn’t exist in a straight line with logical check-points. 
 

It’s often a topsy-turvy road of experiences, expansion, and new levels that teach us powerful lessons.  In fact, the magic lies in the most illogical, yet still soul-called experiences and actions. 

You see, sometimes, you are called to speak your truth so it touches the life of a perfect stranger…and you never know it.

Often, you are called to act in a specific way that creates a chain of seemingly unrelated events & it impacts more people than you ever thought possible. 

And yes, there are times when you do the thing you feel called to do and there is a direct link to the result you wish to create, but…
 

 Your action has to be about MORE than just the result. 

What we are talking about is really more of a calling.  A magnetic way of being and responding and acting because your soul is saying- do this thing.  And I promise when you feel it, you just know it.  

When you get into the practice of rising above the result, you get into a constant flow of feeling the nudge & doing the thing without questioning if it is “worth” it and whether it’s going to get you the results you want. 

Feel the nudge, do the thing.  That’s it.

So what does that look like in real life? 

–>Write the article because you’re called to write it..then let it fly

–>Speak your truth because you’re called to and it’s the right thing to do.

–>Take the leap because you’re called to and trust the next thing will come.

–>Book the appointment, reach out for help, ask the question, make the move because you feel called to and then…repeat.

And don’t let yourself get caught up in the reasons, results, or why of it all.  

Just trust that there is something bigger at play and you are in a way a channel for that thing to come through. 

Ultimately that’s what it’s all about.  

The truth is, we are all connected and while it may not always make sense as to why we feel the strong pull to do something and it seemingly result in “nothing” we must trust that there’s always a bigger purpose for it.  

And speaking from experience it makes for a much more enjoyable ride.  

So, I say all of that to say…do the thing you feel called to do simply because you feel called and watch the magic that unfolds from consistently doing that.

This is the truth you’ve been looking for….
 

Let’s be clear…you get to want whatever you want AND you get to have it too. 

Read that again. 

Nothing is too big, too much, too extravagant, too hard, or too wild. 

You get to want it and experience it.
You get to want it and allow it.
You get to want it and receive it.
You get to want it and accept it.
 

The money, love, joy, happiness, peace, empowerment, flow, success…all of it. 

If you want it, you can have it…period.

The truth is, there is no desire that bubbles up from within you that isn’t possible for you to be, have or do, so let’s just remove that thought from your mind altogether. 

–> Let’s drop the story that says it’s only possible for some people or that you have to be worthy, deserving, or some other crazy thing…enough in order to get it. 

–> Let’s get rid of the thought that only when you have put in years of blood, sweat, and tears are you then finally able to live the life you desire.

–>Let’s delete the idea that you’re just not ready to go where you want to go, be what you want to be, and have what you want to have. 

Those are all lies.  Lies we tell and believe that only result in staying, playing and living a small life. 

And I assure you, we are not here to live small lives, especially now.  

Are you ready for the truth?  The whole universal truth that can be yours if and only if you accept it?  

There is no…impossible. 
There is no…unworthy.
There is no…undeserving. 
There is no…not enough.

Unless of course you accept and believe it. 

What you believe becomes your truth and that truth gets validated in your life experience. 

But the beauty of being you is that the power always lies in your hands because you get to change what is true for you.  And I promise, it’s a lot easier than you might think. 

It comes down to your decision….

Your decision that things get to be different for you. 

Your decision that you are going to get out of your own head and out of your own way and finally, truly, and once and for all allow yourself to be, have, and do all the things your heart desires. 

It is true because you decide it.
It is true because you choose it.
It is true because you accept it.
It is true because you practice it.
It is true because you live, breath, and embody it…daily. 

Period. 

So yes…

It gets to be better for you.
It gets to be bigger for you. 
It gets to be wildly successful for you because you decide. 

Your life gets to be free, full, fun and yes extraordinary if that is what you choose. 

But first you must choose…then “be” it. Embody it. Practice it.

And in those moments when you stumble and fumble or you see something that doesn’t quite match the vision of life you’ve decided you are creating…you hold steadfast to your vision. 

You remember who you are.
You remember your power.
You remember that everything is always working out for you, even and especially when it appears that it isn’t. 

You go within and realign your energy & your thoughts & take the next right, soul-led step, because that is the work. 

That’s it. 

That is the truth & this is the work.

So much has happened in the last few weeks and while I’ve been sharing little bits and pieces of it with you in my last few emails, I thought it was time to put a few golden nuggets together for another Friday 5. Ready? Let’s go!

Friday 5: Lessons in leveling up…

1. Energy, energy, energy!  

I have learned so much about energy over the last several weeks and I’ve been playing with the concept of embodying, investing and becoming the version of me that I am expanding into.  Let me tell you it’s *all* about the energy.  I’ve been spending more time over the past week intentionally aligning my energy with where I am going and who I am becoming.  Based on the vision I have created in my mind, I’m intentionally investing my time and energy into the things that help me expand and evolve.  Let me tell you the results have been incredible! 

**Remember, everything is energy so whether you want to embrace and attract more money, love, success or anything else in your life…it starts with the energy you are embodying in the now. **

2. Mindset-Energy-Science.

I’ve been reading a book called The Positive Shift by Catherine A. Sanderson, PhD and it’s reminding me more and more that all this stuff I talk about constantly regarding mindset and energy isn’t just some “woo-woo” New Age junk.  It is all backed by science.  Everything you want to change, transform or up-level in your life has a mindset & energetic component to it.  While we’ve been taught to believe it’s all about the action, it’s not. There’s so much more power in shifting and transforming your mindset and energy than action alone which is why the work I do is so damn powerful.  

**The truth is you can try to make more money, find your soulmate, transform your body, become more successful etc. through action alone, but the results will pale in comparison to what you can do when you combine it with mindset & energy.**

3.  Dreams & desires that defy logic.  

Each and everything you desire is possible even if you don’t know how it will logically happen.  The “how” is never our job, so why is it that we are so quick to discount the *big* dreams and desires of our hearts?  When we set our goals and intentions based on what we think we can achieve, we play far too small and that’s just not what we were created for.  YOU were created to expand and evolve in this life and that means dreaming big, desiring more and allowing yourself to go beyond what is logical for your life.  Remember, you don’t have to know the ‘how’ for that is never your job.

**Don’t let your logic limit your potential.  You get to want what you want & you get to have it too, so go big!**

4.  Be unavailable for anything else. 

When I first started my business, I set a powerful intention that this was going to work because I was simply unavailable for anything else.  Quitting, failing, and walking away just weren’t options for me and because of that (7+ years later) I’m still doing what I love.  When you set your powerful intentions that defy logic and you become unavailable for anything else, you draw a line in the sand that makes your desires a done deal. When it comes to leveling up, you can’t have one foot in and one foot out.  You have to make the commitment to go all in and get behind your desires fully because there is no other way. 

**This doesn’t mean you won’t have challenges along the way.  It just means when those challenges emerge you activate your faith in order to move through them. **

5.  “It is, because I decide it is.”

As I’ve been leveling up the last few weeks, my mindset work has too.  I’m astounded by some of the statements that are flowing out of me as my mindset changes.  The quote above is one that I wrote recently.  It is, because I decide it is…meaning whatever I want/desire/decide, happens because I decided.  Again, this isn’t about “how” it does or even looking at the details of it at all.  This is about actively choosing what I want to believe. When you cultivate a belief like this, it gets validated in all that you do.  It is because you decide, that it gets to be that way for you.  So…what will you decide? 

**You get to choose your thoughts and your beliefs so you might as well choose the most expansive and empowering ones.**

Whether you realize it or not, we are all being called to level up both on an individual & collective level.

Over the last few weeks or so, I’ve been feeling a massive internal shift from the idea of “doing” to “allowing” & “receiving”.  In fact, I’ve had tons of conversations with clients about the very same thing.

On a collective level I believe we’ve been asked to slow down through the pandemic as a way for us to embrace the feminine energy which is all about being.  


Being in the moment.
Being in the energy of what we desire.
Being in the here and now.

Part of that “being” energy is also about receiving, attracting, and allowing the things we desire and the changes we seek to flow to us and through us. 

We’ve done the whole- do all the things, force the results, and “make” shit happen way- on a collective level (and for me on an individual level), but it’s time for something different.


I mean, when the world essentially stops for a bit for us to learn this Universal lesson, it’s worth paying attention to. 

So, when this message popped up around “calling it in” and truly “embodying” what we want, desire and seek in our lives and in the world…it just made sense.

Calling what in exactly?
Everything. 

When? 
Now.

It’s time to call in all the dreams, desires, and intentions you have for the moment.  The big life, incredible love, massive abundance, powerful purpose, and anything else your mind, body and soul desires for your individual life and/or the collective. 

It’s clear we are in a time of massive transformation on both a collective and individual level and while it seems the world has gone crazy and we are living in some form of the upside-down (Stranger things anyone?)- the truth is, the upheaval always happens before the big up-level. 

Change is coming. Transformation is upon us and it’s time for us all to align with that big vision we desire and call it in because believe it or not, we are part of something bigger.


Your purpose, desires, connections and intentions are all part of the big picture in the collective.

That book you want to write, business you want to start, career you want to shift, clients you want to work with, organization you want to begin and anything else you desire…is all critical to where we are headed. 

It’s all part of creating the greater good of all and it’s time to embrace, embody & “be” the version of you who is already living it. 


Calling it in is about embodiment, expectation, energy & becoming unavailable for anything that is not what you desire.

Does that mean we don’t have to take any action at all?  Of course not.  Action is a necessary part of the process as long as it is aligned & inspired action. 

It’s all a balance and practice when it comes to leveling up to where you want and are meant to be, but the question is…are you calling it in now? 

If not, it’s time to start.  

As I’ve been playing with this whole concept over the last few weeks I’ve been feeling an incredible shift in my life & business in a massive way. Some of the things & people I am calling in are showing up within a few days and I’m blown away!

It’s got me thinking about putting together a 4 week group program that will teach you all about calling it in, embodying the energy, getting into the practice & simply “be”-coming the up-leveled version of yourself you are meant to become.
