“She did that!” And YOU can too.

I just got the official word that my client’s incredible, life changing, world transforming project is LIVE & ready for purchase.

I shared a bit about this client before, but if you remember, this is a project she’s had on her desk for years!! 

One that’s no doubt going to change lives & transform the world AND it’s just the beginning of where she’s headed with her business.

Did I mention I know it’s going to sell like hotcakes & probably get her all kinds of interviews/press & it’s going to support the other facets of her career? (This is actually part 1 of 3 for the empire she’s building. Yeah she’s pretty badass.)

And…SHE DID THAT.

She did that despite a few (pretty major) life upheavals, constant travel & a previous belief that she just doesn’t “follow through” with her stuff, but can move heaven & earth for others. 

The lie detector test determined that was a LIE & we went to work to create the tangible results to prove it. 

Let me break down “how” she did that so you can do it too. 

The short answer- She decided NOW was the time to stop spinning in confusion & invest in doing things different (aka with support, accountability & someone who could see what’s possible for her when she gets lost in the weeds). 

The long answer– She hired me & we worked through all the mind drama that kept her procrastinating. “Can I do this? Is it good enough? Is it ready? Will it work? Maybe I should wait until XYZ is done…” We outlined specific, aligned actions to keep the momentum moving every week & had check ins between calls as needed. She owned the badass identity that she was *made* to bring this to life. She also stayed consistent in her actions & trusted the process even when things looked like they were going sideways. 

What she didn’t do…

Wait. 

She didn’t wait for the perfect time or situation.
She didn’t wait until “it” was perfect or when she felt “ready”.
She didn’t wait for the “right” conditions or circumstances.

She. Just. Decided. 

This has been a long time coming, but SHE DID THAT & you can too.

It doesn’t matter if your thing is a podcast, speaking gig, book, program or a huge non-profit that’s going to revolutionize the world…this works for you too.

You just have to decide that NOW is the time you’re doing it. Commit to the version of you who gets to the end of the year & says “I did that!”. Adopt the beliefs that version of you has & be consistent in your action. 

Listen…your mind drama is no different.

Neither are the excuses & “reasons” you’re using against yourself.

I promise they don’t scare me & they got NOTHING on YOU + ME for 6 months of work so you too can say “I did that!”.

It’s time for a big identity shift. You ready?

Quit “trying” & start deciding instead.

I’ve been hearing a lot of people talking about how they’re “trying” to do their thing. They’re “trying” to start the biz, stay consistent, manifest more money, book their first/next client, show up more frequently, write the book, get in shape etc.

And in that “trying” they’re inadvertently adopting the identity of someone who’s giving themselves permission to NOT do the thing. They’re giving themselves an out. Chances are, you’re doing this too.

When you “try” to do something vs simply DECIDING you’re going to do it (even if you don’t know exactly “how”), you’re playing it safe because…”Well, I tried.”

“Trying” brings about a wishy-washy, not fully in the game energy & identity. It gives you permission to “try” a few good times before you determine it’s a wrap & it just doesn’t work for you. In a way, trying is a cop out.

“Deciding” changes the game entirely because when you “decide” you’re doing something, you bring a different energy.

–> You write the first book like it’s your second in a best-selling 3 part series with raving fans just waiting to buy! 

–> You promote your program like you already have a waitlist of clients dying to get in!

–> You pitch your product to investors like you’ve already got 2 in the pipeline competing for a slice of your incredibly profitable pie. 

When you DECIDE…you show up differently.

You commit to the process in a bigger way, become way more consistent & take radical responsibility for your mindset, energy & identity because you’ve decided it.is.done. Not to mention you 10x your results. 

The people you see living your dream are doing it because they stopped “trying” & instead, they “decided”. 

This one small shift is going to change the game for you & when you clear the mind-drama that has you shying away from fully committing to the program, project or product you want to bring into this world- you’ll be saying what so many of my clients say verbatim. “It’s better than I ever imagined it might be.”

I’ve been following a dancer on TikTok who’s on her 33rd audition of the year in her journey to Broadway…and she’s still showing up.

Even after the instant no’s & the ones that come after a call back.

33 auditions later & she’s still showing up & still going BECAUSE…she’s committed to her dream to dance on Broadway.

More specifically, she’s committed to the version of herself who will be dancing on Broadway one day soon. 

I have no doubt she’s going to make it because she has the tenacity & mindset to keep going.

I have no doubt that YOU will make it too when you get your mindset behind the business, book or project you’re working on this year. The question is…are you committed to the version of you who is most definitely doing it?

She talks about treating her auditions like it’s part of the job (even if she’s not yet getting paid for it) & I feel the same way about  belief.

Your belief IS the work & the path to get to your “more” in ’24 & the truth is you’re closer than you think.

So…keep going/posting/writing/inviting & believing. 

As I shared with a client recently…You can do this. You ARE doing this. Keep going & know that it’s already unfolding. 

Do it like what you’re reaching for is an inevitable fact in the crystal ball of your life.
