What do you want?

What do you want?


This is something to consider if you’ve ever looked at anyone else’s life on social media or otherwise & thought…wouldn’t that be nice? 

Consider this…

Do you want the kind of life that person has or do you want the kind of life that elicits the feeling you have when you see them doing their thing?


There’s a difference.

What do you want?

Do you want the white picket fence & 2.5 kids or do you want the feeling of belonging that you sense when you look at someone with all that?

Do you want to live the laptop life & travel the world for years on end or do you just want to feel free in your own life?

Do you want the $2.5M business or do you want to feel financially stable doing work *you* love?

The next time you see someone doing their thing & you think “Ugh…if only I had that.”, notice what feeling you’re actually after.  More often than not, it’s not about doing things the way “they” are or living the life they are living.

It’s about finding & creating your own version to elicit the feeling you’re actually after. And that comparison train we all end up on from time-to-time does nothing but create more thoughts of lack about your own amazing life.

It’s time to hop off once & for all & get busy creating *your* life in a way that actually feels good for *you*.


The first step is figuring out how you want to feel & what you want. The rest is simply about thinking differently & how you do that is a lot easier than you think. All it takes is a bit of awareness, a few thought tweaks & consistency.

What if you’re already enough?

What if you are already enough?

Consider for a moment that you are far more powerful *right now* than you realize…even with all your perceived flaws & failures.


Despite the procrastination, sabotage & any other behavior or pattern you’ve been trying to break, right this second you’re already powerful enough to make a radical & meaningful shift in your life.

And the only reason you’re not seeing those external, manifested shifts is because you see all those other things as the problem/block/hurdle.

When you own the power that you have *right now* even with all the perceived baggage…things shift quickly…including all the things you thought were in your way. 

What if you already have the skills & tools to create your own product?
What if you already have the connections for your next career opportunity?
What if you already *are* good enough to do your thing?

When you choose to think & believe that you already are enough…in this moment to be, have & do what you desire, there are no gaps. The Universe delivers confirmation to you every.single.time. One of the things people struggle with the most (myself included) is the idea that there is a gap, a problem, a hurdle that must be passed in order to get “there”. 

Our logical minds works overtime because it figures there *must* be something “wrong” because if we weren’t missing something or blocked in someway we’d be “there” already. And this, my friend is the very thing that keeps people stuck for years. 

But here’s the thing…you can’t find what you’re convinced is lost. You can’t solve what you are convinced is unsolvable. You can’t “overcome” what you have built up in your mind is the biggest mountain you’ve ever seen because you’ve struggled with it your entire life. You need to know you’re already powerful/good/smart/resourceful enough to move forward…now. 

All it takes to get there is a simple thought shift.


I’d love to tell you that you’ll only ever have to make that thought shift once & you’ll be golden forever & ever, but that’s not how our brains work. Your mindset gets trained by bringing yourself back to this thought consistently. It is also the reason I now work with my clients weekly. Bringing your mind back to the thoughts that serve you is the “how” you are going to get to where you want to be. It’s a commitment for sure, but the results are mind-blowing.

Listen, your brain can be your biggest block or an awesome ally. It’s time to make it your ally once & for all.
Take a deep breath & know that you already have what it takes to succeed. Imagine what would happen if you owned that starting today?

Who are you being?

Last week I shared some insight with my clients that I thought would be helpful for you as well & it has to do with who you are “being” now. 

I talk a lot about your thoughts & beliefs and how they impact the changes you want to make in your life, but another critical part of the change puzzle is who you are BE-ing in your day-to-day life. Essentially, how are you showing up?

Are you showing up in the muck, the problems, and the headspace of exactly what you want to change? 

Are you showing up as the version of you who is trying, hoping & wishing things were different?

OR

Are you showing up as someone who is already on the other side of this situation? 
 

Your situation doesn’t have to change in order for you to show up differently to it. In fact, showing up differently to your situation is exactly *how* you change it.

(Read that again.) 

So, how do you do that? It’s simple…Imagine you are already on the other side of this issue. It’s been resolved, solved & tied up with a pretty bow. You’re already with the love of your life, doing work that you love, bursting with confidence & your bank account is looking better than ever. You feel comfortable in your skin & you’ve got exciting new projects unfolding.
 

When/if a challenge arises…how does *that* version of you approach it? How does she see & process it? What would *that* version of you do in this moment?

When you show up in your life from the other side of this situation (as if it’s already been resolved), your entire energy shifts. The resolution shifts from being a possibility to an inevitability. 

Listen, you already ARE the woman who succeeds, wins, loves, celebrates & creates all that she ultimately wants to. You don’t have to shape-shift into a different being. You just have to show up as that version of you *now*. 

I promise, the process of creating, receiving & becoming the more you’ve always wanted is so much easier than you’re making it. Don’t take my word for it…practice *being* on the other side this week & see how things shift for you. Have fun with it & let me know how it goes!

Mindset Shift: Change the word

Quick tip for your mindset shift:

Sometimes just changing a word you use changes your entire vibe & mindset.

Example 1-  Years ago I had a client that had a really hard time writing a weekly “newsletter” for her business because of how official newsletter looked in her mind. (You know…lots of bells, whistles & all kinds of announcements & such.) But when we changed the word to “email” it shifted things for her. Of course she could just send an email to her audience. She sent emails everyday! This simple mindset shift allowed her to change her thought process and completely shift her actions & results.

Example 2- I also recently had a client mention how the word “goal” creates an automatic feeling of failure & giving up. This is a common one for so many people based on past experiences with “goals” & not meeting them etc. So, we played around with the word “intention”. Intention feels more powerful for her because she is in control of what she chooses to do. 

Example 3- Using the word “choose” versus “decide”. I’m  a big fan of the word “decide” because it brings with it a sense of putting your foot down & doing the damn thing. But for one client it didn’t resonate so much, so we played with the language and landed on the word “choose” because it brought a sense of power & freedom. 

These are the kinds of shifts that are often all you need to really transform your mindset & your life. 

You don’t need a new brain or to transform all the thoughts rattling around in your head. Small shifts go a long way.

Trick your brain to believe in yourself…

Believe in yourself with this quick tip that works every time…

When you are struggling to really “believe” something is true (things like -I am worthy. Money is everywhere. etc.), this exercise is a great way to “trick” your brain into belief. 

Simply LOOK for & document evidence that shows your belief is already true. Find any & all evidence to support the idea that your health journey is already working or that you’re a hot commodity in the job market or that things are already working out for you.

2 things happen when you do this…

1. Your brain SEES how this is already true & your belief gets a boost
2. As your belief grows, so does the evidence

Your brain LOVES to believe based on concrete evidence & while you don’t always *need* evidence to believe something is true, it certainly helps.   

There is SO much evidence out there for you right now. You just have to look for it. Give this exercise a try this week & let me know how it goes.

P.S. The more you believe, the better you feel. The better you feel, the more inspired actions you take & you begin to see massive shifts in your results. More money, opportunities, confidence etc. 

Everything you want to create this year boils down to how you think, how you show up & the actions you take consistently. It just so happens to be exactly what I teach every client how to do in a simple way that works no matter what your goals/intentions are.
