5 Things I (try to) do daily that help me stay in flow & manifest with ease

I’ve been doing a lot of thinking about my daily habits lately as I make some changes to my overall routines and I thought you might like to see a little bit of the behind the scenes of what I do to keep me in flow.

Before I get into what I do each day (and some of the things I do weekly and monthly), I want you to know there is no “right” or “wrong” practice to do.  The key is to find something that works for YOU.  If you get bored with your practice and need to shake things up, do it.  This is YOUR practice and what you say goes.

With that said here are the 5 things I (try to) do daily that helps me stay in flow…

1.  Move my body. This hasn’t always been part of my daily practice, but in the last few months it’s been SO important for me to maintain high energy and a high vibe. I want to feel more energized and strong in my body and working out daily-ish is how I do it.  I also love a good sweat session first thing in the morning and love seeing how my body changes each week when I am consistent.

2. Journaling.  Journaling has always been a part of my mindset practice and for good reason.  It helps me be intentional about the beliefs I am planting and practicing every single day.  I am at the point now where I do stream of consciousness journaling as opposed to writing the same things everyday, but I find it to be powerful and easy to maintain.

If I want to expand in my finances or I need to make some changes in how I think about my body, I cater my journaling to those areas.  I have to say this practice has been one that has had the biggest impact in my mindset and has helped me to really make some huge changes in my life and business.  It’s also why I created the 21-Day Expansion Experiment Guidebook with journaling prompts to help you create your own practice.

3. Meditation.  Lately this practice has taken a bit of a backseat but it’s one that I KNOW I need to do more.  When I meditate for even just 8-10 minutes, my day begins with so much more peace and intention.  I feel grounded, on purpose, and ready to tackle the day and it helps me keep the gremlins at bay.  The challenge for me is carving out enough time to do all the things I want/need to do as part of my practice.

4. Thank you, More Please.  At the beginning of the year, I decided my words of the year would be “more please” as a way to recognize and expand on the blessings coming my way.  Early on in my practice, I found myself struggling to see any difference in my life and at times it made me want to quit everything.

By taking notice of the things I am manifesting (big or small) and saying “more please” I practice gratitude while setting the intention for more to come.  And you wouldn’t believe the things that have come my way because of this practice.  It’s a game-changer for SURE!

5. Reading before bed. While I usually talk about my morning mindset habits, I have been working on developing an evening habit as well as it helps to set me up for success for the following day.  One of my favorite things to do is read and I don’t really have a lot of time to read between client calls and all of my mommy duties, so doing it before bed helps me do a bit more of what I love.  Not to mention I am often reading some awesome book about mindset so it’s a win/win all the way around.

In addition to the practices I try to do every day, I also have weekly and monthly practices that help set me up for success.  

Monthly: Every month I sit down and get clear on my intentions for the month ahead.  I set financial goals, personal goals and get clear on what my focus is for the month ahead.  I may set up a bit of an action plan for them or schedule certain activities that go along with my intentions for the month or just get clear on what I want to manifest and achieve that month.

I’m usually not too concerned with “how” I’m going to do these things, but I will generally have a first action I can and will take to get the ball rolling.  The Universe then follows up with some incredible magic that pops up later in the month.

Weekly: Each week I also set my goals and intentions for what I want to achieve and/or manifest.  I set financial goals for the week as well as goals for certain tasks I want to complete that week. I look at my finances, my financial goals, and where I need to make some changes if needed.

I will also spend some time organizing my schedule and carving out times for projects I am working on or brainstorm topics and ideas I want to share with you.  This not only helps me stay organized, but also helps me stay focused on what I want to achieve.

Consistency is KEY, but change is GOOD.

There are days/weeks when I feel the need to shake things up and I’ll do some visualization, pull some oracle cards, write my goals every day or do something completely different.  Some days/weeks, things don’t go as planned and I don’t do any of the things listed above…and let me tell you when that happens I definitely see a difference.

As with any practice, the key is consistency, but that doesn’t mean you come down on yourself when it doesn’t “work” or you get distracted.  It just means you recommit and get back on track.

I’m not perfect and I don’t do all of these things every single day, but I will tell you that consistently doing this work has helped me to grow my business in a huge way, take more time off, and has put me on a path to achieve many of my goals much faster than I thought possible.  I promise the same thing will happen for you!

Mindset Monday: How to Manifest Your Beliefs

Happy Mindset Monday Tribe!

The past few weeks or so, I’ve really been going back to my roots and what got me started on this path to begin with and I’ve been doing a lot of thinking about manifestation and the Law of Attraction.  I’ve also been thinking about how it’s linked to our beliefs and mindset and as I was thinking about it, today’s Mindset Monday tip was born.

Today we are talking all about how we are all actively manifesting our beliefs every, single day.  Not sure what I mean?

Check out today’s tip below:

I remember when this concept first hit me.  I started looking at my life (and business) and started thinking..

“What the heck am I thinking to manifest this type of stuff???”

But, the more I connected with what I was actually thinking and believe and I started making changes, I knew that I really did have the power to transform my life.

To be honest, it’s been a journey of learning, growing, expanding, and getting support from others.  I certainly haven’t done this all on my own and have received support from some amazing coaches along the way. This is why I am so passionate about this work.  I know it works!

It’s also why I’m so pumped about the SOS: Summer of Support program I announced last week.

Feeling out of sorts? You’re not alone.

Last week, I shared a post on Facebook that hit home for a lot of people.  Basically, I was sharing the truth about how I have been feeling off the last few weeks (and really the entire month of May) and apparently I wasn’t alone.

I had people reaching out to me on the post as well as in personal messages saying, “OMG, this is exactly where I am.” “Thank you for being so honest!” “It’s so important to know we are not alone.”

You see, there are SO many people struggling at the moment with major life events, things falling apart, and a general chaos that can be both frustrating and confusing.  And whether they know anything about energy and mindset or not, it all feels a bit yucky.

They are stressed, confused, and are desperately trying to get back on track, but some just don’t know how.  If you fall into that camp, know that you are not alone.

Life is exponentially better and easier when things are running smoothly.  When money is rolling in, love is overflowing, and you feel good in your skin, everything seems easy.

This is what I call FLOW and it’s exactly where we need to be in order to continually manifest the amazing things we want to create in our lives.

But…the moment something triggers you and causes you to wobble, it’s as if all that easy stuff disappears and we forget how we got there to begin with.  Deep down you know that you’ve done it before and you can do it again, but the current moment is so damn real, you just can’t seem to get back to that free-flowing-feeling.

This is “how” you do it (A real life case-study.)

I’m just going to cut right to the chase here today because I’ve been wanting to share this amazing case-study with you for a few weeks!!!

Note: This isn’t something I do very often simply because the work I do with my clients varies from person-to-person.  However, there are some MAJOR takeaways from this particular client that I want to share with you.

But first…her story.

Meet Lisbeth (name changed to protect her privacy).

Lisbeth reached out to me in late 2017 for a consultation. Like many people  I speak with, she reached out because she had been feeling unfulfilled, stuck, and a bit confused about her next steps and wanted some support moving forward.  She knew she was ready for more and that it was time to move forward, but she just wasn’t sure where she was headed or how she was going to get there.

We had a great conversation and I KNEW she was ready to take her life to the next level so I invited her to work with me

As we discussed the financial commitment for working together, she understandably needed to take some time to crunch the numbers and see how she could make it work financially.  At first glance it appeared that it wasn’t going to work out and she thought she’d have to put the idea of coaching on hold until things shifted for her financially.

Funny enough- I was opening up a special opportunity for clients to work with me at a reduced rate for a short period of time just a few weeks after we spoke and it turned out to be the FIRST of many trusting leaps that Lisbeth took in her journey.

About a month after our initial call, Lisbeth and I were signed up to work together for 4 sessions and that my friends is where the magic began. 

In those 4 sessions Lisbeth made a HUGE commitment to herself to do the deep mindset work (even when it wasn’t pretty), to listen to her heart & intuition, and to ACT in spite of fear consistently.

The results were AMAZING.  During the (roughly) 6 weeks we worked together she…

• Identified the direction she wanted to transition into career wise
• Followed her gut and invested in a training retreat to gain the skills for her new path
• Cleared out toxic relationships and activities that were no longer serving her
• Made massive shifts in her beliefs about herself and what was possible for her
• Took action relentlessly (even when it was scary and uncomfortable) to learn, grow, and evolve into who she really wanted to be

Was it always easy for her?  Absolutely not!

There were days when she struggled with her belief and felt like she was taking a few steps back, but she stuck with the journey and maintained her commitment.

After our initial 6 weeks of working together, she continued investing in support to transform her personal power, money mindset, and to tap into her spiritual gifts and the magic just continued.

On March 12th of this year, she wrote to me and shared this about her journey…

“I went from credit card debt and unsure how to make monthly bills and I am now sitting with $8000 in my savings acct! AND this savings is AFTER the cost of my amazing life coach, and a women’s retreat I’m about to go on that was over $700(interestingly the same as a magical payment I just received!!!) I’m blown away and still have to pinch myself. This is happening for me, and it is flowing easier and faster now that I have fully wrapped my head around it and see the evidence! Everything is always working out for me😊 Thank you Lamisha!!!!!!”

And at the end of March she told me that number in her savings account had grown to $18,000! (Yes, you read that number correctly!)

 

Some of you may or may not be impressed by that number, but can I just say how incredibly PROUD I am of this woman???

She is kind, caring, and incredibly intuitive and in spite of all the ups and downs that have happened along this journey (believe me there have been many), she’s remembered WHY she began in the first place and her results speak for themselves.

This is HOW you do it people!!! 

In fact, here is your formula step-by-step.

Step 1: Decide it’s time for things to be different and then DO something different.

If nothing changes, NOTHING CHANGES.  You can’t expect to keep doing the same old things and get different results.  If you want a different outcome, you have to be willing to do something different.  For Lisbeth it was reaching out and scheduling that first consultation with me.  For you, it might be something different.  Listen to your heart and take action!

Step 2:  Make the commitment to yourself.  (Aka put your money where your mouth is.)

This doesn’t always mean making a financial commitment in getting support, but it often does.  The truth is you can get to where you are going and where you want to be on your own.  You can do the research, read the books, try the different methods etc. on your own, but the journey is likely going to be a bit longer.  Why not learn from someone who does this for a living so you can get to where you are going faster and with more ease?

When you commit to yourself and you INVEST your money in getting (the right) support, you’ve got skin in the game to make shit happen. Money often creates momentum for people because it’s something they aren’t willing to lose.  We tend to commit to our journey in an entirely different way when money is involved.  It’s just something about how we are built.  When you put your money where your mouth is, things start to happen.

For Lisbeth, she made the commitment in her mind first and then made the financial commitment…even though it stretched her at the time.

Step 3:  Do the work constantly, consistently, and continuously even when it’s hard.

This means doing the daily mindset work and taking those scary leaps when you think you’re not ready.  You will be challenged and want to quit…don’t.  Keep going.  Keep growing.  Keep learning and evolving.  And keep deciding, over and over again that YOU are making the necessary changes that will transform your life.  This is a daily choice.  It doesn’t end just because you invest in getting support.  In fact, that is when the real work begins.

Lisbeth, has been committed to this journey since Day 1 and has recommitted to it with each new day.  She’s been challenged and had moments of doubt, but she keeps going no matter what and her results speak for themselves.  I suspect that by this time next year, her entire life is going to look vastly different than it does today because she’s not backing down from her goals.  She’s just getting started.

Step 4: Just keep going.

I think this is the MOST important piece of it all.  Just keep going.  Things will feel hard sometimes (especially when you are leveling-up), but you have to just keep going.  Keep things in perspective, get help when you need it and keep running through steps 1-3 as needed.  If you want it, you have to be willing to do somethings differently and as logical as all this may sound, there are a TON of people who would rather sit around and complain about how their life isn’t changing.  Don’t let that be you.

Final thoughts…

This case-study is 100% not about me and it has EVERYTHING to do with what is possible for YOU.  I just wanted to share with you what is possible when you decide, commit, and take consistent action toward changing your life.

I know there are many of you reading this thinking… “That could never be me.” and I can guarantee that at one time Lisbeth thought the same thing.  I’ve done it too.

The truth is…nothing is impossible.  If you’ve dreamt about it, desired it, or even had a thought that “it might be fun if…” then it’s possible for you.  The question is are you really ready to go ALL IN on your dreams or not?
