5 Ways to Raise Your Vibration NOW

The other day I got an  email from one of my awesome clients.  We have been working on really being intentional and utilizing the Law of Attraction on a daily basis and she had a great question.

What are some of the best ways to raise your vibration and what do you do when you are dealing with a life challenge or grief.

Now, the easy answer to that is anything that makes you feel good, but to be more specific, I’ve put together a list of 10 things you can do to raise your vibration right now.

1.  Meditate– This is one that Abraham Hicks talks about all the time because when we are in meditation we generally let our monkey mind have a break and we settle into the current moment.  When we focus on our breath and are dealing with the here and now, we are at peace and our vibration rises.  It’s also during that time we can connect with our higher selves and the Universe in order to raise our vibration even more.  A quick 5-minute meditation can do wonders.

2. Visualize– Visualization is one of my favorite tools for manifesting and raising your vibration!  When you think about that thing you are trying to manifest and it makes you feel good and as if it’s happening for your right now, your vibration increases and it even brings your manifestation to you faster. For some people, visualization is simply a reminder of what they don’t have which creates the opposite effect, so if this makes you feel bad-don’t do it.

3. Intend to increase your vibration– This one is tricky, but it’s another one of my favorites.  Say you want to attract a certain amount of money into your life and you know you need to raise your vibration to match that of the money you are attracting.  You can totally do that without knowing exactly how to raise your vibration by simply setting the intention to do so.  Close your eyes and imagine something you want to manifest right now.  When you have it in your mind’s eye say to your self- “I intentionally raise my vibration to match that of _____.” When you do that, you may feel a bit of tingling or energy moving around your body indicating your vibration is raising.  Give it a try and see what happens for you.

4.  Take a nap– Another one of my favorites when things feel really difficult and I’m resisting like crazy is to let go and take a nap.  When you sleep your mind has a chance to reset and your vibration naturally raises.  Even a short 20-30 minute nap can significantly raise your vibration and you can hop back into action in no time!

5.  Write a Love List– When I’m having a low moment and I need to infuse my life with positivity I will often write a love list.  This is simply a list of all the things you love.  As you write each item, thing, person or place you can visualize it and feel the love radiating through your body.  Love is the highest vibration of all so if you did this everyday, you could easily raise your vibration and manifest much faster.

Now, what do you do when you are going through a legitimately tough time in life or are dealing with grief?

It can be difficult (or darn right impossible) to jump on the happy wagon to feel better right away.  My personal suggestion for when you are feeling down in the dumps or are struggling with a major life upheaval is this.

Feel the feels that come with it.  Resisting how you feel only lowers your vibration, but crying actually releases it and raises your vibes.  I’m a crier…about everything.  Happy, sad, angry, frustrated etc. I cry.  But when I’m done, I almost always feel 100% better (though with puffy eyes I certainly don’t look it.)

If you are going through a tough time, be kind to yourself.  Don’t think you have to pull yourself up by the bootstraps and just shove all your feelings down.  Feel the feels, breathe, drink water, and listen to what your body is asking for and do that.  And when you can as often as you can, choose a better feeling thought.

Watch a funny movie.  Connect with friends.  Read a good book.  Listen to music.  Do something that will raise your vibes even for a little while because it will definitely help and know that you won’t be there forever.

LOA Tip: Let It Go!

Over the past 2 weeks I have been doing something that I teach my clients NOT to do when manifesting their desires.  And while I’m not quite sure why this is coming up right now, I did receive the message that it is time for this to change NOW.

2 Questions You Need to Ask Yourself Today

There are 2 things I ask every single client and they are questions I am going to challenge you to ask yourself today.

But, before you do that, I want you to know that the answers you give to these questions will indeed change your life for the better.

And I would venture to say that these are questions you may not have thought to ask yourself before now.

1. What do I want?

This sounds like a very obvious question to ask especially if your interest is to create a life you love, because how can you create a life you love if you don’t know what you want?  But, most people simply settle for what they have in their current reality.  They may desire a bit more money, more free time, and a few more vacations but other than that, they don’t think much about what it is that they want.

So, what do you want?  What does your dream life look like?  If I had a magic wand and I could give you exactly what you are asking for in full detail right this very moment, would you have the clarity to make the most out of your one wish?  Chances are you wouldn’t.  Today I challenge you to grab a journal or a piece of paper and write down exactly what you want out of life.  Focus in full detail on how you want to feel and how that looks in life for you.  What are your key emotional markers for the life of your dreams?

2. What do I need to do right now that I’ve been avoiding?

Most people think that the answers they are seeking lie outside of them and they must go find them.  That’s actually not an accurate depiction of where your answers are.  The answers you seek lie within you, right here, right now.  And when most of us feel stuck in a rut or like we are on the hamster wheel of life, we overlook the thing we know we need to do get us moving forward again.

So, what is it you need to do right now that you’ve been avoiding?  I asked this question to a client who was feeling pretty stuck in a certain situation.  After a brief pause, she had listed 3 things she needed to do to move forward and they were things she had been avoiding out of fear, anxiety, and just plain worry.  Whatever answer you get to this question, go do it.  Take action and watch the Universe work its magic to help support you in your cause.  I promise that is the secret to creating a life you love.

5 Things You Need To Create A Life You LOVE

Everyone wants a life they love right?

But, how many are actually willing to do the work that is required to make that life a reality?

Far too many people are sitting on the sidelines, wishing, waiting, and wondering when their time will come.

If you are one of those people-today is your day, but you have to be willing to do just a few things to create a life you love.

Below are 5 things you absolutely need to do to create a life you love.

  • Get honest with yourself.  Take an honest inventory of your current life and look at what is working really well and what isn’t.  Don’t just pigeon hole yourself into one area of your life.  Look at everything.  See how well your self-care is doing, your health, relationships, career, family life, hobbies, etc.  How are your finances? How are you feeling most of the time?  Take an honest look at it all and figure out where you want to make improvements that will make you FEEL better.  How you feel is the key to this inventory and make sure you don’t ignore what IS working.  That is incredibly important as we always need to see that there are things that are working in our lives.

 

  • Learn to say ‘no’.  As women this can be a difficult one.  We are naturally service-oriented and want to help, nurture, and care for others, many times leaving whatever is left for ourselves.  We will make sacrifices to no end and happily put others before ourselves even if that means we are doing things we really don’t want to do. Learning to say no is imperative to making sure you are focusing on things that light you up and keep your cup full.  If your cup isn’t full, you have nothing left to give anyone else.

 

  • Start small.  As they say: Rome wasn’t built in a day and neither is your dream life.  Don’t start making big swooping changes in every area of your life as it can be quite jarring and can create a ton of anxiety and overwhelm.  Start small with implementing more of what you truly love and enjoy.  Remember to focus on the things that make you feel good.  The more you do that, the easier the transition and changes will be.  As a side note if you were going to start anywhere first, I’d start with your mindset because your mindset is EVERYTHING.

 

  • Dare to take risks.  Once we reach a certain age, we tend to get comfortable with our lives even if they aren’t exactly how we want them to be.  We allow our comfort zone to become like a cocoon wrapping over us and keeping us safe from harm and disappointment.  But, all those things you desire for your dream life are right outside your cocoon.  You can’t get to them when you are all wrapped up.  You have to be willing to break free from your comfort zone and take risks every now and then.  Start now, write down 3 things that are a bit scary that will take you out of your comfort zone and will help create a life you love.

 

  • Take action.  This one seems a bit obvious, but there are so many women out there who know exactly what they need to do, but they aren’t.  Maybe it’s fear, worry, anxiety, or just plain procrastination that keeps them paralyzed, but they just aren’t moving in the direction they know they want to go.  It isn’t until we work together and they have the accountability and push that they really begin moving forward.  If you are one of these people, stop stalling and get busy!  Take action now.  Your dream life depends on it.
